Full course description
ONLINE - 60-minute session. Tuesday, April 9th, 1:00pm - 2:00 pm EST / 10:00am - 11:00 am PST.
Join workshopSHABBAT: campus impact program for an inspiring conversation with Priya Parker, author of the bestseller, The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why It Matters. Drawing on her expertise as a strategic facilitator who focuses on creating meaningful, purpose-driven communities and transformative gatherings, we'll use her book as a starting point to further explore how to "create a temporary alternative world," "cause good controversy," and "accept that there is an end," to inform our Shabbat experiences on campus. Priya will share human-centered and courageous approaches, as well as tools and techniques to invigorate our gatherings and create memorable and meaningful Shabbats on campus.
Hosted by workshopSHABBAT consultant, Alison Laichter, this will be an interactive discussion that will include time for Q&A. Participants get a free copy of The Art of Gathering!
