Elevating Identity Series, online, 60 minute session
Description: In this session, we will define implicit bias and explore the different ways in which bias manifests itself in the hiring process. We will discuss the ways in which bias can negatively affect our recruitment and hiring processes, as well as strategies for how to minimize this bias and create the most equitable processes possible. Participants will leave with an understanding of how to implement small changes that can make a big difference.

This session is strongly recommended for all hiring managers and is open to all staff who are involved in any way in the hiring process. The session is jointly offered by Hillel U’s Center for Engagement, Inclusion & Wellness and Hillel Internationals’ Talent Acquisition team.
