Full course description
One-time, online, 60 minute session
Deadline to Register: February 21
Many of you have been waking up to troubling news, each day, coming out of Poland. Please join Magda Dorosz, Director of Hillel Warsaw, and the rest of the Hillel Poland staff, for a briefing on the current situation in Poland following the government’s passage of the controversial “Holocaust Bill.” Learn from your peers in Poland about the impact of rising Nationalism and the subsequent spike in anti-Semitic rhetoric which surrounds this difficult time for Polish Jews. While many people visit Poland to witness the decimation of the Jews, we are proud to have Hillel Poland serving the important role of promoting Jewish LIFE. Yet, in order to think about the future of Jewish life in Poland, it is first important to understand the present and how it affects our brothers and sisters who are both proud Poles and passionate Jews.
After the presentation, there will be time for questions and conversation.
This session is open to all Hillel professionals, as well as members of
Hillel International’s Board of Directors, Investors Council, and Hillel U
