One-time, online, 60 minute session
Almost every Hillel professional has to deal with financial reports and budgets are part of their work, but very few of us have had formal training in accounting. Even those of us who had some business classes may find we have gaps in our practical knowledge. This workshop will cover the basics of accounting and double-entry bookkeeping so that you can be more confident in understanding budgets, interpreting financial reports, and anticipating cash flow needs.
Understand the basics of how a financial management system works, how to read and understand basic reports, and how to use internal controls to prevent fraud and mismanagement. Understand the difference between cash and accrual accounting.
This Course is for:
Any Hillel professional who wants a better understanding of basics of financial accounting and reporting.
