Full course description
The COVID-19 crisis is functioning everywhere as a referendum on the quality of our leadership. This is visibly the case on global, national, and local political levels, but is also true in Jewish communal institutions. We are being tested in myriad ways, many of them unprecedented; and all of our leaders are being judged in real time against the invisible standards that are forged by our mix of needs, anxieties, and judgments. This is particularly true in the Hillel movement, where Directors are simultaneously shifting organizations to support students spiritually, emotionally, and technologically, all while facing an economically uncertain future.
Please join Adam Lehman, CEO of Hillel International, and Yehuda Kurtzer, President of the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America, as they discuss the short and long-term leadership implications of COVID-19 and its impact on Hillel locally and nationally.
