Full Description:
Engagement is the act of reaching others, getting to know them, and building relationships based on their interests, talents, and passions. This session will equip you with the skills you need to employ relationship-based engagement methodology. We will introduce you to active listening, asking thoughtful questions, and other tools you will need for quality coffee conversations that lead to meaningful relationships.

This Course is for:
New Hillel professionals and any Hillel Professional looking for more knowledge/skills on Hillel's relationship-based engagement methodology.

  • Wednesday, September 6th, 12:00pm - 1:30pm EST / 9:00am - 10:30am PST / 7:00pm - 8:30pm ISR
Instructor Bio: 
Arielle (Ari) Levy is Hillel's Assistant Director of Engagement Training. Ari has spent her career as a trainer, facilitator and consultant with a passion for youth development, public health, and social justice action and education. Prior to joining Hillel's team in 2017, Ari served as the lead trainer for a statewide youth leadership and public health movement in Massachusetts, while also running an independent diversity and inclusion consultancy. Before initiating her own coaching and workshop design initiative, she led a Boston-wide Community Dialogues on Race program that brought together community members of different backgrounds to engage in conversation about their diversity as well as their common ground. Arielle studied Sociology and Community Health at Tufts University and also earned her Master's in Public Health from Tufts, with a focus on health disparities and communication.

Hillel U’s Core Foundation Online Series 
is designed for all new Hillel professionals and any professional who wants a refresher or to fill in knowledge gaps. 

Participation in all Hillel U offerings should be agreed upon by the participant and their supervisor (unless the participant is a director)
