Full course description
Description: Israel education provides a special opportunity for strengthening Jewish identity. However, on many campuses, Israel’s detractors are deviating the conversation making Israel a challenging topic to engage with. Hillel will play a critical and unique role in embracing, leading, and navigating the opportunities, challenges and wide-ranging perspectives. In this workshop, we will reconnect with the idea of Israel education, learn best practices for consensus building around Israel on campus and look at new trends and partners.

Shelley Kedar is the Director of the Institute for Shlichut for the Jewish Agency for Israel and previously served as Hillel International’s VP of Israel Education and Engagement.
