Description: Join Yavilah McCoy for an opportunity to develop a more nuanced understanding of Racism and antiSemitism and what it means to be an active partner in elucidating and eradicating "isms" as Hillel leaders, Jewish communal members, and global citizens within a larger US society.  We will discuss the current successes and challenges that Hillel faces in building relationships between and among White Jews, Jews of Color and people of color and explore tools for increasing our cross-cultural competency to function as a multiracial and multicultural Jewish organization and campus community.  

Instructors: Yavilah McCoy is the CEO of the national diversity consulting group Dimensions Inc.  She is an educator, activist, and diversity practitioner who has worked extensively within multi-faith communities to increase racial justice and expand equity inclusion across diverse communities.
