Full course description
Hillel U’s Center for Jewish & Israel Education is excited to announce the launch of Dwell, a four-day exploration for Hillel professionals this June 25-29, 2018 in upstate New York. One part camp, one part nature resort, two parts Jewish exploration. Dwell is an extraordinary setting for you to revitalize your passions for Jewish life while gaining new skills to bring back to campus.
What is Dwell?
Dwell is not a conference — it is an environment for you to play, think, relax, explore your passions, and connect with 100 Hillel colleagues. Treat yourself to four playful, invigorating days surrounded by forest, fresh air, friends, and colleagues.
What’ll we do?
Each morning you’ll get inspired through a Deep Dive learning track of your choice, serving as your home base and family for the week. Learn more about the six offerings – storytelling, workshopSHABBAT to Torah learning, experiential education to Hebrew -- and incredible staff leading them here. Afternoons and evenings will be filled with electives of your choice, ranging from pickling to arts ‘n’ crafts, hiking to podcasting, bonfires to fire spinning, and creative evening programs that bond our Dwell community.
Who’s it for?
This heavily subsidized program is open to all Hillel staff: early career professionals and experienced senior directors alike. The $125 participation fee will be covered by your campus and includes a generous travel reimbursement.
